Mimi came to visit from California, and Emerson had lots of fun times with her.
He was overdue for a haircut, so they went to get one. He didn't want to sit in the chair by himself, so he sat in a friendly lap.
Look at that moptop!
Food provided a welcome distraction. Instead of chewing up this animal cracker, he just sat with it in his mouth.
Emerson was very serious afterwards, but he looked sharp!
After the haircut, we checked out a cool park at the children's hospital in our neighborhood. (By the way, it had been Pajama Day at Emerson's school that day, hence his wild outfit.)
"Mimi!"
Emerson loves, loves, loves slides--even big ones.
Here he is showing off a fork. He's working on using utensils.
He has to wear hats at school for cold weather and for sun, but he keeps outgrowing them. So Mimi helped him find this new one. Emerson says, "At, at!"
Costco is always a fun outing. (Have you tried the ice cream bars at their food court? Holy cow...)
A happy boy with his Mimi.
Did we mention he's growing up so fast? He turned 18 months this week. Not a baby anymore...
