Dog Days

It has been a hot summer for sure--it's been near 100 or even hotter for most of the last month. We're doing our best to keep cool...Emerson and Brisquette have it figured out for sure! OK, Emerson may not be thrilled that we've posted this, but come on, it's so adorable! He probably won't like this, either.















And while we're posting embarrassing pictures, here's one of the baby immediately after waking up. So groggy!

 After we photographed Emerson with the Bob's Big Boy statue, Brandon's grandma sent him a matching outfit. We didn't have a full-size statue here, so Brandon's Big Boy bank had to fill in.


















 In other news, we're growing a forest of sunflowers in front of our house. It beats taking care of a lawn, and now that they're starting to bloom, it's looking pretty sweet!
