Summertime

Occasionally Emerson wakes up super early, so we set him up on the couch with a movie and a snack. On this particular day, he noticed a bin of clothes we were packing for the move, and asked to wear some of the items. So that is how he ended up wearing his pajamas, the jacket portion of his Halloween monster costume, and his Elmo baseball cap. Nice outfit!

On the 4th of July, the boys wore their matching flag shirts (Emerson calls them "Grand Old Flag" shirts). There were many outtakes, like the one below, before we got the cute picture we posted on Facebook.

We found episodes of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood on the PBS website, and on one of them, Mr. Rogers made a little bed for a stuffed animal in a shoebox. Emerson decided to make a bed for a little teddy bear, and it was adorable!

Brandon rigged up this contraption with a stuffed toy to help keep Hugo's pacifier in his mouth. It works...sometimes.

Hugo is a giant 6-week-old kid now! How cute is he?

Brisquette is enjoying the abundance of pillows and fluffy blankets that go along with a new baby in the house...

Daddy and Emerson checked out the annual Trash Boat Regatta, where people make boats out of recycled materials and float them down the Missouri River. Cool shades!
