Cedar City Adventures
The Sheep Story: The other day, we were heading to town to go to the grocery store when we realized that three lambs had escaped from their pasture and were wandering along the road. Worried that they would end up in the street and get hit (and knowing that they were dumb enough that this was likely to happen), we wanted to put them back in the enclosure with their friends. To accomplish this, we needed to get them across the street and over a barbed-wire fence. Brandon slowly approached them, making comforting sheep-like sounds. Eventually, he was able to pick up one of the lambs, carry it across the road, and deposit it in the pen. The other two lambs wouldn't let him pick them up, but they let themselves be herded across the road. After exploring the fence for a few minutes, they were able to climb back through a gap in the fence (probably how they got out in the first place). We visited them the next day and took these pictures. Hopefully they will stay in this time.
