Interviews, Baby, and Snow

The last month has been quite eventful. Brandon spent much of January traveling to interviews for his predoctoral psychology internship. He visited programs in Utah, Florida (pictured below), New Hampshire, California, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. His trips covered about 14,000 miles total. Later in February we'll find out the results of all that travel.

In the midst of all that, we took advantage of one of Brandon's days at home to go get an ultrasound. Here is Alison at breakfast before her appointment, not long before finding out that we are having...

Another boy! Here's a picture of the cutie.

And of course, here is another cutie! We had two snow days in a row this week, and Emerson enjoyed lots of time with Mom and Dad, and lots of fun playtime in the snow.

Brandon kept up the shoveling throughout both days to make sure our sidewalks were clear and the car didn't get too buried.

In between trips outside, we did fun indoor things, like water play in the sink.

Brisquette was not thrilled about the weather, but she appreciated Daddy's efforts to clear the snow for an outdoor recreation and potty area.

Meanwhile, Alison is hanging in there at 24 weeks. We talk about "baby brother" all the time with Emerson, and he is getting excited to meet his new sibling.
