This kid rolls everywhere now, and he's pretty happy about it.
We tried a Mediterranean restaurant by Brandon's school. Emerson approved.
Then Brandon went to see Adam Carolla at the Uptown Theater. Westboro Baptist Church was there protesting, for some reason. (They are from Topeka, so Kansas City events are pretty "local" for them.) Brandon took some video--they are singing their own version of Garth Brooks' "Thunder Rolls."
During the show, Adam brought a friend (who now lives in Kansas City) out for one last stage appearance. He is a former professional juggler who now has early-onset dementia. It was pretty sad, but also interesting because Brandon has been studying different types of dementia in school this semester.
