January is lame, so here are some more Christmas tidbits

We sent out Christmas "cards" this year, but didn't get as many mailed out as we would have liked. So if we missed you, please accept our belated Christmas greetings! (the picture is not great--it looked better in person!)

Here's the wall o' cards we got from friends and relatives.

And few more highlights from our holiday travels...

Aunt Shelly's smorgasbord of Santas.

Anyone else remember these slightly creepy moving elves?
It wouldn't be Christmas without some game-playing.

One of the three Stone siblings pictured here actually owns a hat exactly like this...can you guess which one?

Alison got an immersion blender from Grandma Stone for Christmas! It is awesome. We've used it to make homemade salad dressing, chickpea soup, and cauliflower curry so far. Here is a video of its first use, for the chickpea soup. I can't remember why we are blending on the dining room rug. The soup looks kind of gross but it was delicious.

P.S. More pictures at Neil's blog. Scroll to the bottom of the post for a cool video of Neil!

January isn't so lame. It is the month of your birth. And mine. Happy Birthday! And there is something about soups that look so gross yet taste so good. And creepy elves.

That is the most creative Christmas card I've ever seen! Super cute :) I'm going to guess that Alison is the Stone sibling with the furry hat. Jon has one of those and he LOVES it!

Why were you using the blender on the carpet? Funny!
I love your wall 'o cards.
I think the hat fits Neil the best.
Last, Spencer would be afraid of the moving elves, and maybe Aunt Candy.
Love your blog updates!

Correction: actually, two of the Stone siblings have hats like that!

Lov those creepy elves. I think they have successfully freaked out all of my kids at one time or another. I coud have sworn I had seen a picture of Eric in a hat like that... Though I wouldn't put it past Neil to own one either. That blender looks great!
