On Monday, we headed to Zion National Park and hiked for a few hours in The Narrows. Before our hike, we went to an outfitter and rented some sturdy canyoneering shoes and neoprene socks. The shoes were great for gripping onto the slippery rocks and keeping our feet comfortable while hiking in the water.
As we were getting ready to start our hike, a squirrel came to investigate. Alison and the squirrel had a Moment.
We hiked a couple of miles up the canyon and back, mostly in the river. The scenery was gorgeous.
Brandon created this video, which he thinks is hilarious. Alison attempts a feat of athleticism and Kenny helps.

Fun! We were going to do the narrows a few years ago, but we just couldn't get a weekend that worked...maybe this year.
