Last night I went to see "Sweeney Todd" on Broadway. It's a musical about a barber that kills his customers, and then his landlady makes the victims into meat pies. Pleasant, eh? This production was interesting because the actors were also the orchestra. The barber occasionally played the guitar, the landlady played a tuba, and various other characters played piano, flute, clarinet, trumpet, triangle, cello, and bass. The bloody coat on the girl on the right means she's dead. It was a creepy delight. Pie, anyone?
